Electronic Archival Records Transfer for Permanent Preservation: Foreign Experience

Abstract: In accordance with R&D Plan for 2022 and aiming at Procedure for acquisition of electronic archival records development in state and municipal archives, an analysis of international experience in this area is being carried out. The article highlights the experience of foreign countries on transferring electronic records for state archival preservation. The acquisition model based on an open archival information system model, and delivery methods that are presented by the reception of record on media, over the network and within information systems are considered. The electronic records transfer process from the creator to the state archive is briefly presented.
